Recently, Dr. Song Bai, Vice President of COSPOWERS, and Professor Zou Guoqiang from Central South University jointly published a review article titled "Sodium Ion Batteries: From Basic Research to Industrialization" in the prestigious materials science journal Advanced Functional Materials. As an authoritative international journal in the field of materials science, Advanced Functional Materials has long been dedicated to reporting groundbreaking frontier research. The successful publication of this article not only reflects the前瞻性 and academic value of the research but also signifies that COSPOWERS's research capabilities in the field of sodium-ion batteries have gained recognition from high-level international journals.

The article systematically outlines the key challenges faced by three types of cathode materials for sodium-ion batteries—Prussian blue and its derivatives, layered oxides, and polyanionic compounds—in practical applications, and provides a professional evaluation of the effectiveness of various modification methods. For layered oxides and polyanionic materials, which have already entered the commercialization stage, the research team conducted an in-depth analysis of their cost structures, offering critical insights for advancing industrialization.
Furthermore, from the perspective of system integration, the article explores battery pack configuration solutions and highlights that high-performance Battery Management Systems (BMS) and Battery Thermal Management Systems (BTMS) are essential for the large-scale application of sodium-ion batteries.
Looking ahead, COSPOWERS will continue to focus on the research and development of core technologies for energy storage batteries, empowering industrial upgrading with more high-quality scientific achievements and contributing to the development of green energy.
