At 10 am on August 10, the UL certification ceremony of energy storage BMS Product IEC61508 Product Functional Safety was held in Harbin. Qin Dongnian, vice president of Cospowers, and Shi Jun, general manager of UL Meihua, Suzhou, attended the ceremony. In this ceremony, the first certificate to pass the functional safety certification of BMS system in energy storage industry was issued by UL in China.

At the certification ceremony, Qin Dongnian, vice president of Cospowers, said that “Cospowers attaches great importance to product research and development and constantly improves R&D investment, and the first BMS system that passed the functional safety certification in China is a link in the output of innovative research and development results of Cospowers. In the future, we will continue to promote the technical strength and product quality of Cospowers to further improve, laying a solid foundation for the sustainable development of Cospowers.”

Shi Jun, general manager of UL Meihua in Suzhou, said that functional verification, design review and code review were conducted on site of the certification center. After systematic and rigorous evaluation, it was fully recognized that Cospowers electric energy storage BMS series products ran stably, continuously and effectively, and met the standard requirements.

Obtaining this certification is of great significance to Cospowers, creating more possibilities for further exploring the international market.
