From July 13 to 14, 2023, the "Second Sodium-ion battery industry Chain and Standard Development Forum" held by Zhongguancun Energy Storage Industry Technology Alliance and China Electronics Technology Standardization Institute jointly with Wuxi Xishan District Government and other units was held in Wuxi Xishan District. Cospowers attended the forum. The sodium-ion battery developed by Cospowers successfully passed the evaluation of extrusion, drop, overcharge, heavy impact, fast charging, high temperature discharge and other items, becoming the first unit to pass the sodium-ion battery evaluation in the country.

The passing of this assessment and certification will help to improve the market competitiveness, product quality and technical level of Cospowers’ sodium-ion batteries, and also help to promote the development and application of sodium-ion battery technology and help the construction of a green and low-carbon economy.

Cospowers’ sodium-ion batteries are expected to achieve mass production in the first half of 2024, and the products will be used in household energy storage systems, communication energy storage systems, two-wheel electric vehicles and other fields.

In the future, Cospowers will further increase research and development efforts, expand strategic layout according to different application scenarios, improve sodium-ion battery series products, help clear water and green mountains, and share clean energy.
